Curvy Girl's Wedding #13: A Nigerian Wedding Full of Laughter, Love & Classic Romance: ELLA + IKAY

I have a special treat for you today. We are taking a look back at a gorgeous wedding between ELLA & IKAY. Everything about this vibrant wedding screams romance. From the gorgeous pink, purple color scheme to the
couple's sweet ceremony and reception, every touch of decor and special moment was infused with meaning and beauty.  Kevin Obosi captured the spark of love in the bride and groom's eyes, and you can feel the spirit of joy in every picture.

The most interesting part about this wedding is that it reflected every bit of their background and origin. The fusion of the different cultures made this wedding a beautiful memory.

About their Lovely Union, Ella writes
"I met my husband in 2011, since then I knew he was the one for me. We got married on 11th April 2015. Our first outfit was in Igbo attire as my father is Igbo.
This was followed by the White wedding
As my husband is from Benin we wore traditional Benin attire. As my mum is Yoruba we wanted to include all tribes our last change was into Aso oke."
"ELLA + IKAY are the sort of couple who you meet and you just can’t help but LOVE them, their love for each other is just out of this world. There are couples you photograph and they stay in your memory for many, many years to come and ELLA + IKAY are one of such memorable couple I’ll never forget so soon. They wanted their wedding to be about them and reflect their day and this is what I enjoy when shooting wedding" Says their Photographer, Kevin Obosi.

What I admire more about ELLA +IKAY is love they both share which was evident in their smile.
Scroll through and have a feel of all the beautiful moments as captured by Kevin Obosi.

  3. Congratulations to the couple, the beautiful curvy bride and her lovely groom, and their choice of a photographer - very nice photos.

Could you please explain why they are dressed in so many ways? Why 3 traditional costumes besides the wedding dress?
