LOOKBOOK ALERT: Nigerian Plus Size Fashio & Styling Agency Debuts First Lookbook – VALIENTE

Tobi Ogundipe Styling & Fashion Agency, debuted its first in-house collection titled Valiente. The Styling & fashion Agency is Nigeria’s first styling and fashion agency dedicated to plus sized women.

I stumbled on their Instagram page a while ago and I was amazed at the beautiful personality and style aura Tobi Ogundipe portrayed. Her style and fashion sense says brave, strong and confident as a plus size woman.

This collection titled Valiente which means brave in Spanish truly explores the designer’s style as a plus size woman who refuses to conform to fashion norms fashionable options. 

The label describes the collection as “a vibrant representation of the Tobi Ogundipe woman, it includes prints and cuts that flatter your curves, pieces that will transition seamlessly from day to night and party wear.”

About the collection, the CEO and Creative Director, Tobi Ogundipe Styling & Fashion Agency, Oluwatobiloba Ogundipe opined that “It’s not about what size you are, it’s about your self-confidence and finding the right outfit for your body type. Our goal is to make sure that the plus sized woman is seen as stylish and striking’’.

With a BSc in International Business Management/Marketing from the American University Washington DC and an MA in Human Resource Management from University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Tobi is set to create collections that promote self-confidence among Nigerian women wearing plus sizes.

I really can’t wait to see more from this label.
