Top designers now feature plus-size
models in their runway collections. For instance, Jenny Packham closed her Spring2015 bridal show with two such looks and Rick
Owens had real
women step in his Spring 2014 presentation.
But for a completely plus-size collection to show at one of the four biggest Fashion Weeks (in an industry when "it's always Fashion Week somewhere," we're talking ready-to-wear at New York, London, Milan, and Paris) is still a rarity.
However, we were thrilled to see Evans, the biggest plus-size retailer in the United Kingdom, close out London Fashion Week with its first-ever plus-size runway show.
It was also an opportunity for the company to debut its latest plus-size line called Design Collective for Evans, which includes reworked styles from the main collections of London-based designers like Giles Deacon, Lulu Liu, Clements Ribeiro, and Vita Gottlieb.
Scroll down and see every plus-size look that hit the runway.
