10 Plus-Size Street Style Stars to Follow Right Now

Gabi Fresh
If you’re even remotely plugged into the street style world, then you already know there’s absolutely no shortage of women in the world with impeccable, creative, and enviable personal style. What
there is a shortage of, though, is a spotlight on the plus-size ladies who are totally killing the fashion game—and we’re on a mission to change that.
As we learned this summer, the plus-size style community is one that’s constantly growing but still tight-knit. In the oft-exclusive world of fashion, theirs is a group that is refreshingly inclusive. Instead of viewing themselves as competitors, most of the plus-size street style stars view themselves as partners in crime—an attitude we very much respect and admire.
In the inclusive spirit of the plus-size style community, we found the 10 ladies whose style we find most remarkable and inspiring.
Keep scrolling for the 10 plus-size street style stars you need to follow right now!

  1. Franceta Johnson

Johnson has got to be one of the chicest plus-size bloggers out there. She sticks to classics and basics most of the time, and really knows how to put things together, whether it’s boyfriend jeans with blazer or  pencil skirts with crop tops.

  2. Gabi Fresh

Gabi is one of the plus-size bloggers who’s been in the game the longest. She started blogging the old-fashioned way on LiveJournal in the early 2000s. Since then, her fashion blog has completely blown up, and her unique sense of style—infused with a modern aesthetic but still playful—has earned her hundreds of thousands of devotees.
  3. Chastity Garner-Valentine

Garner-Valentine is one of the most ladylike women on our list. While she still lets herself be playful (often via her self-declared obsession with beauty products), her style tends toward the more classic and romantic trends. She takes inspiration from Kim Kardashian and more broad street style trends.
  4. Jay Miranda

Miranda has an approachable yet experimental style that celebrates her curvaceous figure. She migrates toward body-hugging pieces that remain fashionable. We like her style because she isn’t afraid to try a wide variety of colors and prints, and she pulls them off with aplomb.
  5. Stéphanie Zwicky

Zwicky’s blog is particularly envy-inducing because not only does her personal sense of style inspire us, but she lives in France and often includes shots of her life there on her site. As such, she incorporates the perennially amazing style of the French into her wardrobe, with a touch of statement-making, American-inspired pieces.
  6. Margie Ashcroft

We adore how bold plus-size blogger Margie Ashcroft is with her personal style. Her bright pink, cropped hair is a perfect accessory to her rock ‘n’ roll-inspired style. Biker jackets and moto boots make very regular appearances in her wardrobe.
  7. Nadia Aboulhosn

There’s no two ways around it: Plus-size lady Nadia Aboulhosn is an absolute knock-out. The New York City-based blogger has a distinctly Kendall Jenner vibe about her beautiful face—and an impeccable sense of style to match.  She consistently delivers strong looks ranging from body-hugging miniskirts to on-trend overalls and fringe dresses.
  8. Nicolette Mason

Mason is another powerhouse in the plus-size community. She’s been around since nearly the beginning of the movement, and has a devoted clan of followers. Her style is more vintage-inspired and often recalls the glamorous pin-up girls of the ‘50s and beyond. Her recent collection for ModCloth is proof!
  9. Marie Denee

The Curvy Fashionista blogger Marie Denee has a style we can only accurately describe as badass. Simultaneously ladylike and edgy, Denee’s style strikes the nearly impossible balance between the two. She’s bold and brave with her choice of silhouettes and colors, and she’s definitely not afraid to stand out in a crowd.
  10. Tanesha Awasthi

Awasthi is one of the few plus-size bloggers out there who has launched her own eponymous collection of clothes that she sells on her own site.  Her style tends toward dressy yet modern looks that you could just as easily wear to the office or on a glitzy night out with friends.
