Curvy Girl's Wedding #12: An Elegant Wedding With A Cultural Flair: Estella + George

 

Love meets us in the most unexpected places. For this curvy bride, she met the love of her life at the beautiful serene environment of Tinapa Waterfall in Calabar.

"I actually met my husband in at Tinapa water falls, it was really crazy though. He kept guessing things about me and I must say 90 percent of the guess were right and I kept on
saying the were wrong it was fascinating so from there we became friends, he lived in Lagos so he had to go back but he kept calling and came down to Calabar to see me often and that's how we became close.we just understood each other and you know the remaining story".

Estella Antai-Ukombe and George's wedding was quite epic.

From her pre-wedding shots, the bridal shower, traditional wedding to the white wedding, this lovebirds really showed us how beautiful finding your better half can be.

About Her Dresses:
Estella's dresses were elegant and hugged her curves in the right places. She indeed has a great sense of style.
Her wedding dress is very gorgeous. She wore a Sequined Alencon Lace on Organza Dress. The dress offered a hint of nostalgia in this ball gown featuring an illusion modified neckline and wrist length sleeves. 
 
The proposal: 
For the proposal, Estella shares

"Well it wasn't so dramatic like the Nigerian movies . He proposed to me with a bible lol it was cute". 

Traditional and White Wedding:
She also had this to say about the traditional and white wedding

"Initially I wanted getting a wedding planner and then am like I love doing my things my own way so what the hell. So I got some inspiration from Bellanaija. Generally I love bright colours, so the colour of the day was fuchsia pink, Turquoise blue and a touch of orange. Went to Lagos with my two friends to do some shopping, it was strenuous but successful. And I gotta say planning a wedding ain't beans plus I had only 2months to put things in place, my husband did his part. Actually my husband and I wanted a small TM but it turned out big, family things lol. On the D day I was so happy to walk down the aisle and so I do to the man of heart, it was amazing family and friends turned up for us I felt so important that day".
