It is okay to be big. It is more
interesting when you are happy in your own skin. Beauty comes in all sizes. I
once did a post about size diversity. The article summarizes the need to
understand that size is not a factor and that you can look beautiful and stylish at any size.
You can be big and still enjoy being
who you are. Today, I rounded up 6 tips on how to live the life of a plus size
lady and still be beautiful, comfortable and appreciative of whom you are
despite your size.
Steps
1. Do
not try to look like someone you are not. Be happy with the size you are.
Often, many try to look like the models on the pages
of fashion magazines and on TV thereby refusing to accept who they really are.
It’s fine to dream of Gabi Gregs kind of curves and want to look like her. But
the fact is Gabi is Gabi and not you. So why not be yourself and let people
look up to you.
2. People
come in all shapes and sizes; embrace the shape and size you are.
When you understand that people come in all shapes
and size, you will learn to enjoy and love yourself more. Chastity is one curvy
girl who love and enjoy herself in her pear shaped figure. She knows what fits
her and what works best for her shape. So why not learn from Chastity and embrace
the shape and size you are.
3. Ask
your doctor how you can be a healthier type of shape and size person you
already are.
It’s okay to consult your doctor on how to eat and
exercise in other to live a healthier and curvier life. People usually have
this myopic feeling that big people are more prone to suffering one ailment or
the other. That is not usually the case. We all need to be alert and updated on
our health status in other to be on a safer side. Talk with your doctor about
how to be healthy in the body you have without having to become skinny. Do as your doctor directs.
4. Do
not hide your BBW body in over-sized clothing.
Dress beautifully and
fashionably and not hide your beautiful curves in over-sized clothing. Wear clothes that are fitting, trendy and that make
you happy. You will carry yourself better and feel beautiful. Trendy clothes,
in proper fit to your body type, will provide a great improvement in not only
the way you feel but also in the way others perceive you.
5. Do
not care that you don't look like the women in popular magazines.
Many ladies fantasize about being like the ladies on
the pages of popular magazines. What we do not know is that most of these
photos are not real but photo shopped. You can learn a few tips about how to
play a few fashion tricks. Just don’t care to look like them.
6. Hang
out with like-minded and like bodied people.
People who have the same mindset as you are more
likely to accommodate you as friends. These are people you should hang around.
Not people who will not wait a second to remind you how not skinny you are and
how you should loose weight. Chilling with like-minded people will enhance your
confidence and give you more reasons to embrace your body.
Remember:
Being a big, beautiful woman is not that bad of a thing. The people that think
that BBW are not attractive are really just too afraid to really give them a
try.
Be
positive. Be proud of who you
are.
